After working for more than 10 years in the mortgage industry, Letty Gutierrez continues to seek out opportunities to help and serve families. “I treat my clients like family,” she says. “Everyone has a unique journey, and no matter what hurdles arise, I am committed to finding a solution.”
A vice president of mortgage lending at Rate, Gutierrez worked in the banking industry for 12 years. She enjoyed helping people with their banking needs but realized that many families were being underserved in the mortgage market. “I wanted to do more,” she shares. Remembering when her mother purchased a home without any guidance or options, she was determined to change that for others. “That’s when I decided to get my license and serve families in their homeownership journey,” she adds. “My years in banking taught me the importance of customer service, client engagement and building long-term relationships.”
Fluent in Spanish, Gutierrez is part of the Perel South Florida Team at Rate, where she is known for showing kindness and compassion. Described as being family-oriented, rather than a nine-to-five loan officer, she adapts to her clients’ individual needs. “If I have to work on the weekends, I do it,” she remarks. “But I also balance that with my personal life.” With most of her business derived from Realtor partners and past clients, she is genuinely grateful for the clients she has the opportunity to serve.
Recognized as hardworking, dedicated and caring, Gutierrez enjoys volunteering at her church, at her children’s school and throughout her community.
