
Jennifer Leong is a leading force driving the next wave of Fort Lauderdale’s skyline evolution, known for aligning product, pricing and strategy to drive absorption and protect asset value. As managing director of developments for ONE Sotheby’s, she leads a Broward County platform focused exclusively on new construction and large-scale mixed-use projects. Developers prefer to engage Leong before launch to align product, pricing and market strategy with real-time buyer demand. She oversees nearly $8 billion in active inventory and projects in premarket positioning coming to the market.
Before being recruited by ONE Sotheby’s, Leong contributed to multiple high-rise development sellouts across Chicago’s Gold Coast and River North neighborhoods. She leads with buyer segmentation — identifying and activating distinct demand pools to inform unit mix, pricing strategy and phased release — ultimately driving absorption and optimizing total sellout. Her approach is rooted in disciplined execution, a worldwide database and access to domestic and international capital channels beyond local absorption. She leverages 18 years in luxury and branded new construction alongside Sotheby’s International Realty’s global platform, which spans more than 80 countries, positioning her within one of the most far-reaching networks in the world.
Leong’s background spans e-commerce, fintech and strategy (including taking on the Nasdaq IPO of a Silicon Valley e-mortgage company), as well as early experience in wholesale fashion, building a foundation in relationship-driven sales. She also has worked alongside world-renowned architects Zaha Hadid and Santiago Calatrava.
Leong was elected for a third term to the board of directors of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and is co-chairwoman of the organization’s Real Estate and Construction Council, representing 31 Broward County municipalities.
