Fort Lauderdale’s City Commission recently gave the go-ahead for The Opus at 701, a boutique waterfront condominium development at 623 and 701 Bayshore Drive.
Designed by Adache Group Architects, the 13-story mid-rise will offer 54 units. Residences will encompass 1,825 to 2,987 square feet and have private balconies and two- to three-bedroom floor plans.
“Our vision is to create a property that not only looks exceptional, but supports how people want to feel day to day — calm, energized and connected to their environment,” said William Lougheed, owner of CNB Contracting Corp. Lougheed is co-developing the project alongside real estate finance executive Richard Mach.
Amenities include a saltwater pool, fitness center and open-air gathering areas.
“The Opus at 701 represents a disciplined development approach focused on delivering long-term value in a highly supply-constrained waterfront market,” Mach said.
Developers anticipate pre-sales to begin this summer, with construction to begin in early 2027.
