Confident and determined, Maria Cuadra grew her business through hard work and faith. The broker and owner of Cuadra Group LLC, Cuadra, with the help of her team of agents, serves residential and commercial clients throughout South Florida, the majority of whom are referrals or repeat customers. “My favorite part of the job is being able to connect with people on an emotional level and really get to know them,” she says. “I want my clients to feel taken care of and supported at every step.”

Growing up in Miami, Cuadra calls the streets and highways her office, and the city her inventory. “This is not only my job, but this is my home,” she declares, adding that during her three years cheerleading for the NFL, she gained familiarity with the rest of Florida through her travels and developed the necessary people skills to thrive in the real estate industry.

Since starting her real estate career nearly 20 years ago as a purchasing coordinator for a small developer, Cuadra has kept God in the forefront. “There is no competition when you have a business built by God,” she shares, noting how she’s always promoted her firm as a faith-based business and credits that as the root of her self-assuredness. “I trust the process, the journey and I look back at every accomplishment and believe in what the future holds.”

Placing an emphasis on mentorship in the office, Cuadra helps her agents develop the same level of confidence in themselves that she has in her own skills. “Clients can feel when you’re confident, and that puts them at ease,” she explains.

Cuadra is a devoted wife and mother of two. She cites her family as her biggest accomplishment, saying, “There is no one else I would rather be with or make memories with.”
