The Lincoln in Coconut Grove breaks ground

by John Yellig

LORE Development Group and Element Development broke ground on The Lincoln, a 48-residence boutique condominium building in Coconut Grove.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by city officials, the development team, ONE Sotheby’s International Realty leadership and other members of the broker community.

According to developers, The Lincoln has already sold more than 40% of its units. The project, located at 2650 Lincoln Ave., offers one- to four-bedroom homes, including six penthouses that encompass up to 3,633 square feet.

“The Lincoln is ideally situated in Coconut Grove, Miami’s oldest and most picturesque neighborhood offering tropical charm, tree-lined streets and unparalleled walkability to the area’s finest restaurants, marinas and parks,” said Jorge Rucas, director of U.S. real estate at LORE.

Residential amenities include a sauna, steam room and hot and cold plunges; fitness center; golf simulator; co-working lounge; and rooftop pool and observation deck.

“Coconut Grove has become a center of gravity in South Florida, attracting some of the most discerning buyers from around the world who value a walkable lifestyle with boutique privacy and a true sense of place,” ONE Sotheby’s President and CEO Daniel de la Vega said. “The Lincoln delivers on all of those qualities, and the sales momentum is a testament to buyer confidence in the project’s vision and the future of the neighborhood.”

Winmar Construction will be the general contractor for the development, which is scheduled to open by third quarter 2028.
