Dallas-based Foss Real Estate Partners hired Robert Horton as a partner at the financial consulting company. Horton will work out of Miami, expanding Foss’ capital markets capabilities.

He will draw on 15 years of real estate finance and development experience in his new role. He previously held management positions at Concord Summit, George Smith Partners and Brookfield Properties.

“With Robert’s background and extensive track record of execution, Foss now offers a fully integrated, end-to-end finance and capital markets platform,” Foss Founder Chris Biesanz said. “What we consistently hear from sponsors is that they’re executing institutional-quality deals, but they don’t have to build institutional-sized teams. Our role is to level the playing field by giving growing sponsors the same analytical depth, expertise and execution support as much larger firms.”
