What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Banking, I worked as a Personal Banker and had to travel overseas to visit clients and I got to meet a lot different people from a lot different backgrounds.

Where did you grow up?
Cali, Colombia.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
In all honesty, a singer but that didn’t work out, LOL.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I walk the Venetian Causeway and enjoy our beautiful sunsets in Miami.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Warren Buffett because he has been able to accomplish great success and in his later years has become an inspiring philanthropist for other people at his level.

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?
It wouldn’t be a secret if I tell you!

What do you love most about the industry?
To be able to help people reach their financial goals, become homeowners and build a portfolio of assets to help increase their wealth.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Try to find a work-life balance because I love what I do.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Following up and taking care of your current clients. That’s the best source.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
A lot of research about the current market, how real estate across nation is behaving and what can we expect for the upcoming years.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?
Definitely I would say the kimchi rice at Takato in Fort Lauderdale and also the branzino at Santorini by Georgios in South Beach.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?
One Thousand Museum designed by the late Zaha Hadid, and I also love the architecture of Viscaya.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Having to deal with a tenant during a showing that had a little too much to drink.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
That I love to get involved with our community and I try to work with different non-profit organizations to make sure I leave this world a better place when I’m gone.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?
Mexico, because of the food, scenery and people.

Follow up, follow up, follow up.

A lot of news and business accounts and our local agents so we can support and build our network.
