A crew of 300 workers and 1,200 cement mixers recently poured the foundation for the 902-foot-tall Okan Tower in downtown Miami

The skyline-altering building, scheduled to open at 555 North Miami Ave. in 2027, will stand 70 stories tall and offer 163 “Sky Residences,” 236 short-term rentals run by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, plus the Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, and 64,000 square feet of class A office space.

Residents will have access to a 12th-floor amenity level with an owners’ club room, pool deck, fitness center, wine celler, spa and business center, as well as a 70th-floor rooftop pool with private cabanas.

“This marks a significant milestone for the Okan Tower team, and we are filled with pride and excitement as our vision for Miami’s skyline transforms into a reality,” Okan Group Chairman Bekir Okan said in a press release. “Okan Tower represents the vibrant and dynamic future that awaits Downtown, and we look forward to this exciting next phase of the construction process as we go vertical.”

The skyscraper was designed by the Behar Font & Partners architecture firm and is the first U.S. development by Turkey’s Okan Group. Fortune Development Sales is handling sales and marketing for the condominiums.
