What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

My most interesting job was selling shoes. I was a manager for one of the most popular shoe companies at the time, but I don’t believe they’re still around.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Haiti and moved here when I was 19.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

Growing up, even though I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do but I was always sure, that I wanted to be my own boss.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

To relax, I like to get on a plane and go somewhere, because travel gives me the fuel to recharge my batteries. I love to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

I’d like to meet Patrick Bet-David and I’m going to. Because I believe we share some of the same ideas and values.

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?

The beauty of living in South Florida is that you’re always 30-45 minutes drive away from completely different scenery, the advantages of living in a vacation spot/zone.

What do you love most about the industry?

What I love most about the industry is the fact that we are literally changing people’s lives; helping someone buy their first home or investment property is a life-changing experience.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

I love a challenge, so whatever it is there’s always a way, you have to approach everything with an open mind and be willing to make adjustments.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Build relationships, social media, Personally, I post a piece of content every day on all major social platforms, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I binge listen actually. Audible is one of the most-used apps on my phone. The last books were: Principles by Ray Dalio, Start With Why by Simon Sinek and The Psychology Of Money by Morgan Housel.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?

My favorite meal? Too many to name; this is South Florida, a little of every culture, but I enjoy a nicely done grilled octopus.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?

My favorite building will be Five Park Miami when it’s done.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

The weirdest thing lol, a seller who became obsessed with my client.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

People may be surprised to learn that I have started over 17 different companies over the last 20 years.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

Vacation spot, wherever there are water, sand and coconut trees I feel at home. I love the Caribbean. I’m an island guy after all.

Master social media and put your face out there.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?

Social media, Patrick Bet-David, Kevin O’Leary, Gary Vee, Elon Musk, Dave Ramsey and some local agents.
