What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

Singing and songwriting.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in the city of Miami.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

I wanted to be many things growing up. I never wanted to limit myself in any way, but if I had to choose, I would say an entrepreneur/business owner.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

I either journal, read, go to the gym or watch my favorite show.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

I would choose to meet Kobe Bryant or Beyoncé. Both individuals inspire me deeply — Kobe for his remarkable achievements in basketball and his dedication to excellence and Beyoncé for her unparalleled artistry and unparalleled work ethic. Meeting either of them would be a tremendous honor, offering insights into their journeys and a chance to learn from their experiences and perspectives.

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?

One hidden gem that I find intriguing is Vizcaya Gardens in Coral Gables. I believe that lesser-known places like Vizcaya Gardens often offer a more authentic and enriching experience, making it a standout destination in Florida.

What do you love most about the industry?

What I cherish most about the real estate industry is the tangible impact it has on people’s lives. From witnessing the outcomes of property development to appreciating the creative design process, I find great fulfillment in assisting individuals and families in finding homes that perfectly suit their needs. It’s a journey filled with creativity and the joy of helping others fulfill their dreams of finding a place they can truly call home.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

One challenging aspect of my job is navigating the unpredictability of the market, which is influenced by factors like economic conditions, interest rates and regional trends. However, adapting to changing market dynamics and devising strategies to ensure success can effectively address these challenges.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Build a strong online presence. This involves creating an engaging and user-friendly website, utilizing social media platforms and leveraging online advertising. Additionally, developing and maintaining a network of contacts within the community and collaborating with other professionals.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I’m currently reading “Atomic Habits” by James Clear and enjoying amapiano, afrobeats and jazz music.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?

My favorite meal in South Florida is pizza. There are many wonderful pizza places to try.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?

My favorite building would be the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. It’s an iconic Italian Renaissance-style villa in Coconut Grove with beautifully landscaped gardens.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

Showcasing a home with an unconventional architectural design, featuring a front-placed pool rather than the typical rear placement.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I decided to dedicate each year of my life to learning something new — whether it’s a new language, mastering tennis or picking up rollerblading, to name a few.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

I haven’t chosen a favorite vacation spot yet. I love exploring new places, trying different activities and embracing diverse cultures. I enjoy the adventure of discovering unique destinations

Thank you for mentioning Vizcaya Museum and Gardens! The estate is 108 years old and one of the best examples of estate homes of the Gilded Age. And it’s right here in Miami. The European-style formal gardens and bayfront location are a great daytrip for locals and out of town visitors. vizcaya.org
