What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
When I’m stressed, I usually like to relax by painting a picture or being near the sea and listening to the waves.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Viola Davis! Because she is an admirable woman who has transformed her fears into her greatest successes. Unquestionably, for me she is an example to follow and not only for women!
Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?
Fort Lauderdale. Everyone should visit that city!
What do you love most about the industry?
Helping people achieve their goals.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Educate people that the real estate market can be very changing and always be updated
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Focus on the content and be consistent and, of course, stop being invisible. Learning to use all types of social media is important today more than ever.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I am reading two books: 365 Tips for Real Estate Agents by Orlando and Daniel Montiel and Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I listen to Cafecito Inmobiliario daily. Cafecito Inmobiliario is a morning podcast that talks about the real estate sector in the United States and the world.
What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?
Fish! I can eat it every day.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?
Dalí Museum
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I entered a house to show it to a client, and it was totally abandoned and different from the published photos.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I come from Cuba, an island in the Caribbean, but I don’t know how to swim.
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?
Curacao Islands because they invite you to completely disconnect from social media.

Stay focused, and trust the process.
