What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

Real estate and mortgage banking are the only jobs I have ever had. It happens to be very rewarding to assist buyers and sellers with their real estate needs.

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Miami, however, my formative years were in Los Angeles, California, and I made the move back to Miami in 1987.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

Initially, my dream was to be an attorney and then become a Supreme Court justice.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Some of the activities that I enjoy for relaxation are painting, golf, bike rides and photography.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Sean Connery. Why would I want to meet him? Have you seen him? 🙂

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?

Fairchild Tropical Gardens, it is not a secret, however it is such an amazing place to enjoy a relaxing stroll, almost an escape from the hustle and bustle of the noisy city.

What do you love most about the industry?

This industry is an ever-changing business that allows for continued growth and experiences. No two days or transactions are the same.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Because there are so many moving pieces and parties in a real estate transaction getting everything coordinated does present challenges. Thankfully I have an excellent team I work with to provide quality service.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

The key to generating leads is as simple as maintaining contact with everyone in your sphere. Making lots of phone calls, sending out mailers. Communication is the vital key.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

Watching Friends and Fraiser, both are great comedies and a nice little escape from stressful days.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?

There is a wonderful Indian restaurant called Saffron and they have amazing Tikka Masala and Naan bread, the service There is great too.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?

I would say my favorite building is definitely Vizcaya as well as the views and location.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

While showing a vacant home to a buyer we heard a noise in the garage and this client who was about 6-foot-2 shoved me aside to run out of the garage. Turned out it was just an iguana that was in the garage. We had a good laugh about it afterward.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I don’t believe that there is anything about me that could be surprising, I am just a simple lady.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

The Hawaiian Islands is by far my favorite destination, it truly is like heaven on earth. There are so many amazing sites, activities and food.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

Be honest, ethical, professional and always communicate.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?

Most of what I follow on social media is about travel, dance, cooking and entertainment fields.
