by Stacy Carchman

Miami-based luxury brokerage Brown Harris Stevens has hired Sebastian Vallejo as managing director, Miami Beach, according to a press release from the company.

Vallejo was a Realtor with Brown Harris Stevens from 2017-2019 and now returns from Compass. He will work to unite all the company’s Miami-area offices and the more than 180 agents, along with the management and marketing teams.

Vallejo received his bachelor of science in Economics at the University of Columbia. He has worked in management for many corporate offices, including the Berlitz Corporation, the global premier provider of culture and language training in over 70 countries.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sebastian back to Brown Harris Stevens,” said Vivian Diamond, managing broker. “After a thorough search campaign to fill this new role, we centered on Sebastian, based on his hands-on and engaging management style, real estate experience and uncompromising work ethic. His expertise will be a valuable addition to the power of the resources BHS provides to our agents and to the communities we serve.”

Vallejo also added, “It is an honor to take on this new role with Brown Harris Stevens. I have great respect for each of the agents as well as our management team and sister offices throughout Florida and the Northeast. I look forward to continuing to build upon the successful expansion of the BHS brand in the Miami market.”
