What was your first job in the realty industry? My first job in the industry was at Lennar Homes, I was a sales consultant for 3 years and sold pre-construction and inventory Single Family homes, Townhomes, Villas and Estate Homes.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Miami.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I have always been very artistic, I was a dancer all the way thru High-School. I went to a (magnet dance school), then in college I decided to study Journalism. During this time I became a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader and decided to study TV Production. I got into Real Estate and switched my degree to Liberal Studies where I graduated with a BA and now I’m graduating this summer with an MBA In International Real Estate and feel lucky to be in this career. I have the best job in the world.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I stop working for that moment, I thank God for all he has given us, sit down with my family, hug and kiss my kids and somehow recharge and realize that there is more to life. That I have an amazing job where I make dreams come true and continue moving forward.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would love to sit down with Jesus! I mean can’t he answer all my questions? I would thank him for everything in my life and we would probably have Sushi.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Home, or the Beach. We are always on the road so to be home, relax and watch Netflix is one of the best feelings.

What do you love most about the industry? I am a listing and buyer’s agent but I do love working with buyers. I love knowing my hard work will last a very long time in a place where memories will be made and families will grow. That emotional part of the industry is my favorite part and the reward is not bad at all.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I don’t take “NO” for an answer. I am also very knowledgable about the industry. I am very professional. I go above and beyond for my clients. I also build lasting relationships and follow up constantly. I have an amazing team that I work with and most importantly, I am very positive no matter the circumstances.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? In this industry, we offer a service to different clients with different careers and schedules and it makes it very difficult for us to find the time to disconnect from work-that is definitely one of the most difficult aspects.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I network all the time. Everywhere I go, I am my brand, My husband and I started The Cuadra Group and we are constantly looking for more clients to help. We utilize every tool to network. Thankfully, after 10+ years in the industry, I have created a database where our clients are mostly repeat business or referrals.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment has been building my career and brand alongside my children. I have worked with both my kids. I have been in the rain, the sun, the cold, in the mornings, afternoons, nights, during showings, appraisals, inspections, closings etc., and somehow it has made me stronger and even more determined to succeed. Today, I have a great team and many happy clients.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? My husband and I just started watching Game of Thrones, it is a very good show. We are definitely hooked.

What is your favorite restaurant? We love sushi and are always eating at Sushi Maki or RA. We are also always with the kids so we tend to explore when we dine. We love restaurants.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston?

What kind of car do you drive?

Smartphone or paper? Both, evenly.

What is your favorite city after Miami? I can do Key West or New York

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Find a mentor, work hard, be patient, it’s not easy.
