Agent Snapshot: Clein De Araujo, Luxury Specialist and Realtor, Ancona Realty, Miami Beach

Clein De Araujo

Clein De Araujo

What was your first job in the realty industry? My first experience in real estate came from watching my father, who came to this country by very humble means, buy a garage without anything in it but four walls and a roof, and turn it into a beautiful two bedroom, two full bathroom home with a driveway and a back patio. Witnessing and watching the process made me see a vision come to life, which motivated me and captivated my attention and love for real estate. Seeing all his hard work and negotiating with people to make and create such a beautiful home that no one else could see but him until the final product, really resonated with me until today.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I typically deal with type-A clients that usually have a high net worth and are very demanding around the clock. To relax, I usually meditate once or twice a day, and on the beach if possible. I also weight lift and go for walks three times per week. Meditating allows me to charge up my chakras and have a clear mind that’s ready to take on all the demands and needs of my clients and to be on top of my game at all times.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in South Miami and Pittsburgh, Pa.

Growing up, what did you want to be? Growing up, I always wanted to be a real estate mogul. It’s a great way to leave your mark on this world, as well as being able to supply housing and make hundreds of thousands of people happy by building and owning their dream condo and/or house. Housing is something that will always be necessary, and I would love to be able to have enough inventory to house everyone according to their needs, from lower income to the most lavish of homes.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be? If I could have lunch with a well-known figure, it would have to be Anthony Robbins, who I have been following and listening to for years. His advice and mentoring have definitely affected my life for the positive. Meeting him would enlighten me and be an amazing experience.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? I love to hang out right on the private beach in Miami Beach. Something about the beautiful water and fresh air comforts me unlike anything else.

What do you love most about the industry? I love the diversity that the real estate industry has. The potential and boundaries are endless in this industry, and I love the fact that you get out of it what you put in!

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? The way I carry myself and present myself is different from most agents. It corresponds with how hard I will work for my clients. There is no limit, and my motto is “yes.” Yes, I can meet your goals and, hopefully, go above and beyond what my clientele expects.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? I don’t feel that there is a difficult aspect of real estate. Every problem has a solution, and I work hard to always find a solution with any issues I encounter.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I have many means of networking, which include several organizations and groups.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment was opening up a successful high-end, off-premise catering company in NYC; organizing an amazing chef and staff; making it very successful in less than four years; and selling it as a successful company that continues to grow with the foundation I laid down.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The best book I have read as of late is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, which is an amazing book. I strongly recommend it to any one looking to better their lives.

What is your favorite restaurant? The Capital Grille – a must try!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? I really like the Akoya building on Millionaires Road.

What kind of car do you drive? I drive a silver C-300 Mercedes Benz Sport Package.

Smartphone or paper? Smartphone and paper!

What is your favorite city after Miami? New York City.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Join Ancona Realty – they are the best in the industry!

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Flashlight.
