ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is getting ready to open its doors to Kai at Bay Harbor Islands. The new condominium will be seven stories high and have 54 units.

The condos include one- to four-bedroom units that range from 1,100 to 1,800 square feet, and are priced from $631,000 to $1.5 million. Kai’s features include wrap-around glass balconies, floor-to-ceiling nine-foot windows and waterfront views. The units have Bosch appliances, European style cabinetry, quartz countertops and spa-like bathrooms. The building includes a pool, fitness center, exterior lounge areas, bicycle storage and barbecue area.

Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Reality, said he is excited the building is nearing completion. The building is set to open at the end of winer 2016, and 85 percent of the building is already sold.

“Seven buildings with 307 units were underway as of July in Bay Harbor Islands, so to be topped off on schedule is a significant milestone for Kai as the pioneer of Bay Harbor Islands’ condo boom,” de la Vega said. “We are confident the project will sell out to completion at a faster pace than anticipated.”

Adriana Faerman, ONE Sotheby’s sales director for Kai, said that Bay Harbor’s tranquility is attracting families. Kai is within five minutes of the beach and Bal Harbour Shops, a collection of boutiques and restaurants.

“Bay Harbor is not only unique for its serene seclusion, quaint streets, contemporary dining, A-list schools and modern water front living but its low-density is appealing to families in increasing numbers,” Faerman said.
