What was your first job in the realty industry? I worked for Metro 1 Properties as a brand ambassador.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Grab my passport and pick a destination with sun, or go shoe shopping.
Where did you grow up? Between Haiti and Miami.
Growing up, what did you want to be? An ambassador.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be? I would lunch with Andy Warhol. I have an admiration for creatives, plus he had a fun life!
Where is your favorite place to hang out? My home.
What do you love most about the industry? The growth and opportunities are endless.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I maximize use of social media and I reply/followup by day’s end.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Having enough inventory to put the right tenants in the right space. Also, preparing for a possible downturn as predicated by the history of the real estate cycle.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Galas, vacation hot spots, fashion weeks and online.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? To be healthy and happy while still being in an aggressive and stressful industry.
What is your favorite restaurant? So many now, and many more are coming!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? Love driving by the Freedom tower – how far we have come!
What kind of car do you drive? Mercedes.
Smartphone or paper? Both. Can’t trust either one too much.
What is your favorite city after Miami? New York.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Know your market WELL and become an expert at contact building and managing.
