Agent Snapshot: Sandra Sepulveda, Sales Executive, Astor Real Estate Group, Miami

Sandra-Sepulveda

Sandra Sepulveda is a sales executive with Astor Real Estate Group working in Miami.

What was your first job in the realty industry? I worked as an in-house sales executive for a pre-construction project that involved a condo-hotel and a marina.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I google for somehting funny or I just remember something funny, once I get a big laugh I have more energy to continue with my day.

Where did you grow up? In Santiago, Chile. I moved to Miami when I was 17.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be a flight attendant, a model and also an attorney. I became a flight attendant for 11 years; I did some modeling; but I never became an attorney – instead I became a Realtor, which I am glad I did since I dont have to sit in an office every day. My office is on the go.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Pope Francis. This is the first time I feel like meeting a Pope. I admire Pope Francis for his honesty, big smile and his humble ways. The world needs more leaders like him.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Any where in Brickell during the week and the beach during the weekends.

What do you love most about the industry? The service aspect of it. To be able to help a customer to accomplish their dream home or investment is a very good feeling.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?  By always putting the customer’s needs first. With honesty, professioanlism and knowledge of the industry, I have been able to differentiate myself from the rest.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Time. I would like to clone myself so I have more time to help my clients. Every time a client tells me how happy they are to have met me, I wish I could help more clients at the same time.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I belong to different networking groups, so I go to various events and places.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? I used to have a radio show, which I conducted on my own. It was a great feeling to know that customers were listening to me and that they wanted my expertise to help them find a property.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I saw a movie/documentary called “Quantum Communication.” To me this is one of the most amazing movies. I love to learn and this documentary taught me how energy moves the universe, the world and every human being. We are a pretty unique machine and very much filled of magic.

What is your favorite restaurant? There are so many but one is Capital Grill.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? I love Regalia in Sunny Isles. I never get tired of looking at this beautiful building. I like buildings that are unique.

What kind of car do you drive? I drive two cars: one is a Mami Van and the other is a Lexus hybrid RX450.

Smartphone or paper? Both. I dont ever want to stop writing on my own, but the smartphone is very convinient.

What is your favorite city after Miami? New York.

What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Take as many classes as you can at the Miami Board of Realtors and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Mobile MLS.

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter?  Donald Trump.
