What was your first job in the realty industry?
Construction in high school!

Where did you grow up?
Boston.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Eating dim sum!

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Running on the beach or hitting the gym.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
Professional basketball player (I’m still hopeful…)

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Jon Taffer of Bar Rescue; this guy gets it. He has a fantastic way to cut to the heart of an issue, create a solution and implement it efficiently and effectively. I respect that big time.

Where is your favorite place to hang out?
Love the local spots, such as Tequila Chicas and Playwright.

What do you love most about the industry?
The thrill. There is nothing better than seeing completion of a client’s goals and the mutual excitement that results from it.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
The combination of knowledge plus dedication. I have found that to be a recipe for success and a distinguishing characteristic.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Answering the phone 24/7 is tough sometimes!

Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
I try to go out almost every night. People you meet at night often become clients during the day. All the hotels on Collins are great for new clients, SLS, Shore Club, W Hotel, etc.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
The continued growth of our company as a result of our success for our clients is a consistent and continuous accomplishment.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
Just read the book The Unwritten Rules Of Baseball. That was entertaining.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Chalan on the Beach.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami?
I love the Apogee in South Beach. Most of South Beach is Art Deco, so to see an Asian style building with such clean lines gives me the feeling the architectural era has changed.

What kind of car do you drive?
Mercedes.

Smartphone or paper?
Smartphone!

What is your favorite city after Miami?
I love Vegas, but Boston is my home. Tough call, but I’ll say it depends on the time of year and the reason for the trip!
