fabiana-bosca-brightway-properties-miami-beach

Fabiana Bosca is a Realtor with Brightway Properties in Miami Beach.

What was your first job in the realty industry? At a Sunny Isles Real Estate office as the administrative assistant. I really wanted to enjoy this position for a while before taking the real estate exam, to learn everything in this new world for me at the time. After five months I was ready to make the next move and got my real estate license in 2000.

Where did you grow up? I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and came to Miami in 1994.

What is your favorite free-time activity? Spend time with my pets, Bella and Druk, and go to the gym.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I live in Miami Beach (very close to the beach), so I feel very relaxed when I take walks on the beach.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be an oceanographer, and in 1989, I got my degree in oceanography and marine biology in Uruguay.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would have lunch with Dr. Linda Sternau, a pioneer in the neurosurgical medicine field who, with her multi-talented capabilities, saved my life and many others on a daily basis.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? My backyard on the water and Punta del Este in the summer.

What do you love most about the industry? I love the fact that you meet people from all over the world, and you get the opportunity to speak different languages while enjoying each different deal. Every deal is a different challenge.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Perfection, as I am a perfectionist – I am organized, and most important, honest all the way until the closing of a deal.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? To network with other colleagues in the industry.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Every person you meet anywhere on a daily basis could become a client, even the person who you least expect.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? I was the contract administrator for almost 800 units at three different preconstruction projects at one time, while all three projects where in different stages: one under reservations, the other converting to contracts and the largest one taking pre-reservations.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The Devil Wears Prada.

What is your favorite restaurant? Carpaccio in Bal Harbour.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? Regalia in Sunny Isles.

What kind of car do you drive? 2013 Mercedes C-class Coupe.

Smartphone or paper? Both.

What is your favorite city after Miami? Punta del Este, Uruguay.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Learn, and work with diligence, respect and honesty.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? DocuSign.

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? I don’t use Twitter.
