Florida East Coast Realty announced the start of construction on 2020 Ponce, a 130,000-square-foot office condominium to be developed on the corner of Ponce de Leon and Minorca in downtown Coral Gables. Completion is scheduled in one year. The project is 80 percent sold, with only two floors of office suites still available for sale.
The 14-story building will feature office space and two 12,900-square-foot penthouses, which offer 360-degree views and 11-foot ceilings. Pricing ranges for customizable, designer-ready layouts are from $600 to $750 per square-foot.
A Mediterranean-style building, designed by Theodore Roux of Coral Gables, 2020 Ponce offers a lobby, common areas and office space with balconies with some floors having wraparound terraces. The latest technology, security systems, concierge and valet are also available and owners have access to on-site VIP parking; four spaces will be allotted for each 1,000 square feet.
Coral Gables-based Beauchamp Construction Co. is the general contractor, while Vistas International Realty is the exclusive sales agent. The sales center is located at 2100 Ponce de Leon in Coral Gables.
