Berdugo Homes announced plans to develop a 120-acre community in Doral, which will encompass 1,109 luxury condominiums and townhomes, 100,000 square feet of retail space and more than 360,000 square feet of office space.
Initial sales for Landmark at Doral will focus on the residential component, whose groundbreaking is scheduled for early-2007. The property, located at 5802 N.W. 104th Court, at the corner of 58th Street and N.W. 107th Avenue in Doral, will include one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom residences ranging in size from 700 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet. Residential sales commenced in November, with pre-construction prices for luxury condominiums and townhomes ranging from $300,000 to just under $1 million.
Berdugo Homes, the luxury home building division of E.B. Developers, is looking to transform the land into a New Urbanism-styled city center that is a mix of residential, retail and commercial activity. Landmark at Doral will feature fashionable retail and dining venues, a downtown professional office center, vast areas of open green space ideal for running, exercising or lounging, pedestrian friendly piazzas, tree-lined streets and walkways, three swimming pools, and a community clubhouse. The clubhouse will include a state-of-the-art fitness center and a resort-styled swimming pool and sundeck.
Each residential unit will boast a one- or two-car garage; modern European-style cabinetry; high-end stainless steel appliances; energy-efficient and impact-resistant windows and sliding doors; deep soaking tubs and island-styled vanities with marble tops in the master bathrooms; tile flooring in the kitchens and carpeting throughout living area and bedrooms. Every residence will also offer high-speed Internet connectivity, satellite television, monitored security systems and smoke detectors.
