My first job in the industry was working for
RE/MAX Consultants Realty in Ft. Lauderdale.

Who inspires you and why?
I am inspired by my wonderful companion and partner Antonio Otero Bon. He has helped me learn so much about the many cultures here in Miami, especially how each of these cultures deal with business, and how important it is to know and respect their differences. He has also shown me that no matter how much work you bring upon yourself, you still have to make the time to go out and have some fun.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Boating is, and has always been, my favorite free-time activity. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to some of the most beautiful places in the world by boat. What an incredible feeling it is when you reach a destination by water You see it from a totally different point of view.

How did you learn the business?
I jumped head-first in to one of the toughest real estate markets in the country. I worked with friends and former employers and began to build up my confidence. Through word-of-mouth and advertising, I continued to develop a client base. I have been working with them ever since. I truly enjoy working in real estate; it is challenging and ever-changing.

Take some time to read The Gift of Change by Marianne Williamson. It will change you forever.

Vizcaya; its romantic atmosphere, incredible gardens and location on the water makes it my favorite.

What kind of car do you drive?
I drive an Acura TL4 with a navigational system. I’m directionally challenged!

BlackBerry, Palm or paper, and why?
The Blackberry for me works because I like having as much information with me as possible.

What is your favorite city after Miami?
I would have to say London is my favorite city after Miami. I love the “Old World” ambiance with the “New World” lifestyle that you find there.

What is your personal motto?
Be nice to others; it doesn’t cost a thing and the returns are priceless.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
