What was your first job in the realty industry?
Working for Hyperion Development Group Inc.

Who inspires you?
The people I meet on a daily basis inspire me. Every day is a lesson learned and, working in this industry, you meet people that have accomplished so much. It’s wonderful when they share their experiences with me.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
In my free time, I’ve started horseback riding. It’s such a
relaxing hobby. I hope to become a pro in the near future.

How did you learn the business?
There’s really only one way to learn a trade, and that would be to immerse yourself in it. I studied all the books and passed all the tests, but there’s nothing like your first sale. That’s when you really begin to learn.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
The last great movie I saw was “Casino Royale,” the most recent 007 movie. The first 10 minutes had the best stunts and it kept me at the edge of my seat. It gets five stars!

What is your favorite restaurant?
There is a restaurant called Sheba, located in the Design District of Miami. They serve authentic Ethiopian food and wine.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami?
I would have to say that the Espiritu Santo Plaza catches my eye every time I see its beautiful architectural design. It’s simple, yet captivating.

What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a 2001 Ford Explorer.

For now, Outlook or paper

What is your favorite city after Miami?
I like Atlanta; it has beautiful suburbs and the cleanest city sidewalks I’ve ever seen.

What is your personal motto?
I follow a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt, which says, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” Those are words to live by, especially when you’re a young real estate professional.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Jump in and absorb as much as you can.
