A recognized voice throughout the country as an expert in mortgage lending and real estate, Robert Curtis has been the keynote speaker at numerous events while his views and opinions have been published in the Chicago Tribune and The Wall Street Journal. “I appreciate that my perspective is held in high esteem,” Curtis admits. “Especially since real estate and mortgage lending both continuously evolve and require keeping pace with those changes to best meet clients’ needs.”

A senior loan officer with Wintrust Mortgage, Curtis graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in marketing and finance. In the industry for 22 years, he continues to enjoy helping first-time homebuyers, military veterans and luxury property purchasers secure financing for a new home. “Helping thousands of people create a safe haven for their family is the greatest contribution I’ve made to my profession,” Curtis shares, which is the main reason he pursued this career. “I want to be able to use my time and talent to benefit others; doing so allows me to grow as an individual.”

The recipient of numerous honors, Curtis credits his integrity and honesty with every client to his success. “I believe that I get out of a relationship what I put into it,” he explains. “I take pride in delivering exceptional service from application to closing, allowing me to establish true partnerships with my clients throughout what might otherwise be an anxiety-ridden process.”

The son of a breast cancer survivor, Curtis is an active volunteer with the Silver Lining Foundation, whose mission is to raise breast cancer awareness. He also donates time to his local food pantry and participates with various area Chambers of Commerce. “There is great satisfaction that comes from assisting people in attaining their personal and professional goals.”
