More than 250 VIP guests recently attended the inauguration ceremony for the opening of the newly designed Raleigh Gardens in Miami Beach., where real estate developer and investor Michael Shvo and his partner Jason Lucas from Deutsche Finance revealed the largest-ever outdoor public exhibition of the work of the late Claude Lalanne and François-Xavier Lalanne, the artistic duo known as Les Lalanne. Bringing together more than 40 Lalanne works from the the collections of Michael Shvo, architect Peter Marino, Andy Warhol muse Jane Holzer, and gallerists Paul Kasmin (New York), Ben Brown (London and Hong Kong) and Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand (Paris), the beachfront public art exhibition, which was envisioned by Shvo and designed by architect Peter Marino and Miami landscape architect Raymond Jungles, is a nod to the Raleigh Hotel’s epic past as an icon of culture and style.
