Mike Fernandez, philanthropist and pillar in the Miami community stood before a crowd of 200 this week at Park Grove, his future home, for an intimate and uplifting discussion about his journey through life and how, through all of his success, he still feels humbled. The evening began with a cocktail reception hosted by Pedro Martin, David Martin and Jorge Perez, developers of Park Grove. Fernandez was then introduced by Dave Lawrence, former publisher of The Miami Herald. Following his engaging speech, Fernandez answered questions, presented each guest with a copy of his book, and closed the night by signing each one.
