What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

My most interesting job before going into real estate would definitely have to be my three years as a stay-at-home mom. I know some people are going to read this and be like, “that’s not a real job,” but seriously, I had other jobs before and being a stay-at-home mom definitely came with so many challenges.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Miami until the age of 7 when I moved to Broward County. I lived there for about a year, then, moved back to Miami but was still attending school in Broward County. At the age of 12 I moved back to Broward, and I’ve been here ever since.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

Growing up, I always loved animals and I really thought I would become a veterinarian. Another part of me always knew I would be my own boss, and that’s one of my main reasons for choosing to get into real estate.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

When I’m stressed I like to go to the beach. The beach truly is my happy place. Living in Florida, I feel like a lot of people take the beach for granted because its so accessible, but I truly feel so grateful to be able to visit the beach whenever I want to.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

I would definitely love to meet Kris Jenner – and not for reasons you may think. I honestly believe she is such an intelligent and business savvy woman, and I would love the chance to pick her brain.

Where is South Florida’s best-kept secret?

Hmmmm … that’s honestly a little tough. We have so many things to offer, but I recently visited an Island in Palm Beach called Peanut Island, and it was so amazingly beautiful. Hands down, one of the best beaches I’ve visited here in Florida.

What do you love most about the industry?

I love the freedom it gives me to spend time with my friends and family. I also really enjoy helping people, so, when I see the smiles on their faces whether selling their house or finding their dream home, it really brings me so much joy.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

The most difficult aspect of my job is definitely the feeling that I don’t have enough time in a day. With all the business of everything, the time really does get away from you sometime.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Definitely take advantage of social media. You can run an entire marketing campaign on social media and its FREE. Learn the algorithms, the aesthetics, engage with your audience and most importantly have fun with it.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

Right now, I am actually binging Million Dollar Listing. I am reading Untethered Soul and listening to Bad Bunny of course.

What’s your favorite meal in South Florida?

Honestly, with so much to choose from I really cannot choose one. However, if anyone was to invite me to dinner, there are three things I would NEVER say “no” to – tacos, sushi and anything Latin.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?

I would have to say the Freedom Tower. I love the Mediterranean style and history behind the tower.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

Thankfully, nothing weird yet… but if anything happens I’ll update you!

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I was a teen mom. I had my first kid at the age of 17, wouldn’t change it for anything.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

My favorite spot is definitely Puerto Rico. I am Puerto Rican, but my parents couldn’t afford to take all of us to visit as kids. So, now as an adult I take every chance I get to go. The food is definitely my main reason to go, but the energy and island itself is absolutely breathtaking.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

It will be hard, do NOT give up! Stay consistent, stay focused.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?

My favorite people to follow on social media are people who are super positive and motivating. One of my favorite influencers is Analis Cruz. She’s a fitness influencer who also shares some lifestyle content and is very real about her good and bad days, but always maintains a positive outlook.
