Former NBA star’s Miami Beach mansion lists for $42M

by Lindsey Wells

The waterfront Miami estate formerly owned by Miami Heat star Chris Bosh is on the market for $42 million.

The fully renovated home is the only move-in ready residence available on North Bay Road, according to a press release.

Celebrity neighbors include Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, Karlie Koss and Joshua Kushner.

The property’s landscape includes a living green wall and garden courtyard with water installations highlighting the home’s perimeter. The home has wood and stone building materials throughout and seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

Developed by AquaBlue Group and conceptualized by Touzet Studio, the residence’s double-height great room is surrounded by glass with views of the bay and garden.

Large closets and oversized bathrooms with tub and dual sinks fill the master suite, while the custom Italian kitchen features modern cabinets and an island.

The property also has a mosaic-tile infinity pool and detached outdoor kitchen and cabana with a bathroom and guest quarters. The fully automated smart home also features a commercial-grade elevator.

While the house could hit an overall sales record if purchased for its asking price, it is still priced lower per square foot ($3,500), compared to recent sales, like the property that has been owned by both Phil Collins and Jennifer Lopez at 5800 North Bay Road, which sold for $39 million or $4,000 per square foot.

The listing is held by Albert Justo and Mirce Curkoski with The Waterfront Team at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
