Florida-based Atlantic Pacific Development (AP Development) received the Residential Developer of the Year award at the Latin Builders Association (LBA) Annual Awards Luncheon Sept. 28 at the Hyatt Regency Miami.

Rudy Rojas, Alex Lastra and Joseph Roig accepted the award on behalf of AP Development, which was presented to them Jeff Atwater, State of Florida CFO, and Guillermo Fernandez, president-elect of the LBA.

AP Development Dignitaries Comment on Award

The awards luncheon celebrated the efforts of the LBA’s members and directors within the association and their industry.

Lastra, senior managing director of AP Development, was “thrilled” with the recognition, saying that the award speaks to the development’s efforts and overall reputation.

“It’s an honor to receive such a significant award from a well-respected and admired organization as the Latin Builders Association,” he said. “We are thrilled with the recognition and it serves as a testament to the quality and knowledge of the people who make up Atlantic Pacific Development.”

Tom Smith, senior managing director of AP Development, shared the same sentiment, saying, “For over four decades, we have consistently nourished our relationships with clients and employees, making us one of the leading property management companies in South Florida. Winning this award further instills our commitment to being the best at what we do.”

The ‘Best of’ Award

The announcement comes at the heels of another award the company received Sept. 27 from Daily Business Review.

AP Development’s sister company, Atlantic Pacific Management (AP Management), received the “Best Of” award in the Building Maintenance Company category, as reported by the Tampa Bay Newswire.
