Continuum Company recently broke ground on La Baia North, the second of two bayfront condominiums it’s developing in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands.

Continuum previously secured a $90 million construction loan for the other condo project, the 100% sold La Baia South.

The eight-story, 57-unit La Baia North, located at 9481 E. Bay Harbor Drive, is 60% sold. Units will have views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Miami Beach and downtown Miami. Completion is expected in the first quarter of 2027.

“Breaking ground on La Baia North marks a pivotal moment for Bay Harbor Islands, an area with immense untapped potential,” Continuum Chairman and CEO Bruce Eichner said in a press release. “This project demonstrates our commitment to development in this thriving community. La Baia North will set a new standard for waterfront living, blending the neighborhood’s unique character with modern sophistication.”

La Baia North residences will come with two to four bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 1,400 to 2,100 square feet and prices starting at $1.4 million. Units will have private terraces with transparent glass railings and dedicated home office areas for remote work. Private boat slips will be available.

Community amenities include over 8,500 square feet of green space, a sundeck, heated soaking spas and a sunset lounge with a fire pit. There will also be a rooftop splash pad, kids’ play lawn, rooftop grill station, hanging nest swings, study pod areas and rooftop tents.

Other amenities include a dockside pick-up and drop-off area, 9,700-square-foot rooftop amenity deck and water-sports launch dock equipped with kayaks, inflatables and paddleboards.

Jacob’s Construction is the general contractor, and Gutman Development Marketing is handling sales. Luis Revuelta is the architect, C. Wright Studios handled landscaping and pool design, and Durukan Design is the interior designer.
