What was your first job in the realty industry? Realtor.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Running, biking or HIIT exercises.

Where did you grow up? Chicago until 16 years old, and then Miami.

Growing up, what did you want to be? Police detective.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be? Napoleon Hill, to hear first hand some motivational advise on life, family and business.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? The beach. It is very soothing to hear, see and feel.

What do you love most about the industry? The ability to help others achieve a very big goal, like homeownership or real estate investing.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I introduce myself as what really makes me me. I’m married to my high school sweet heart, we have two beautiful daughters and, lastly, I am a real estate broker who just loves real estate.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? The amount of unprofessional agents and firms (discount brokers) amongst us who give the industry a bad name.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Charity events. I find when I’m least looking for business networking, it finds me.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Being hired by a local bank to sell their inventory of distressed properties.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The Tipping Point” by Malcolm Gladwell

What is your favorite restaurant? Las Vacas Gordas on Normandy Isles.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? The Conrad in Brickell.

What kind of car do you drive? Lexus IS 250.

Smartphone or paper? Both– depends on the task.

What is your favorite city after Miami? Chicago.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Seek a mentor and leverage marketing.
