Dan Teixeira

Dan Teixeira has been appointed as vice president of business development for the Realty Marketing International Team at Douglas Elliman Florida. This marks the collaboration of RMI, the leading consulting and marketing firm for luxury boutique residential condominiums in South Florida, with Douglas Elliman, the nation’s fourth largest real estate company.

“About one-third of my clients are from the northeast – the largest share being from New York – as are the bankers I work with,” Teixeira said. “Considering Douglas Elliman’s presence in both New York and South Florida’s Broward County, which people now call ’the sixth burough of New York,’ joining forces was the perfect marriage.”

Teixeira has more than 25 years of in-depth real estate experience, is a seasoned expert in waterfront development, land use analysis, international marketing, and has been at the helm of developing residences in the area from conception to completion. He has sold over a half billion dollars in waterfront properties and high rise developments.

His background includes director of sales for The St. Regis Fort Lauderdale Residences, manager for Starwood’s “W” Residences, and most recently, director of sales for The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale Residences.
