What was your first job in the realty industry? I have over twenty 25 years of experience in senior management positions in sales, marketing and international sales at multinational corporations in the United States and Latin America. I’m the president of Busy Minds Consulting Group. I have been involved with real estate investments since 2003 in Miami and New York, and am a trusted advisor for direct clients, investors, banks and developers in United States.
My first position in real estate was as International Marketing Director at Fortune International; I coordinated the international sales of the company, which included the exclusive sales and marketing of 12 luxury projects in South Florida, Mexico and Dominican Republic.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Argentina. In 1988 I went to Denver for six years, where I worked for United Airlines and American Express. Then I moved to Montevideo, Uruguay for 10 years, where I worked for UPS. In 2003 I moved to Miami to work for Edgardo Defortuna at Fortune Development Sales.
What is your favorite free-time activity? Sailing!!
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Cook.
Growing up, what did you want to be? Financial advisor.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Pope Francis (Jorge Bergoglio). He is an amazing person who I respect immensely.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? On the ocean.
What do you love most about the industry? Knowing that every day is going to be a challenging day.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I’m not a sales person, I advise my clients in all aspects of a real estate transaction.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Managing people and agents.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I travel overseas al least 5 times a year. My clients are based in Argentina and Uruguay.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Creating my own company and hiring amazing people who accompanies me everyday.
