In January 2011 she wrote a check for $5000, the highest level allowed. “I made the investment to set an example for my colleagues in the region. The RPAC’S efforts are so important,” Delinois said. “When there is a cause that affects our industry, this group is on it.”

“We are grateful to major donors like you, and thank you for your Golden ‘R’ investment. A strong PAC is vital to the success of our industry,” said Kevin M. Sears, 2011 RPAC Chairman, in a February 21, 2011, letter to Delinois. “Thanks to you, NAR continues to fight for Realtor priorities, such as continuing the mortgage interest deduction, creating affordable housing opportunities, and protecting consumers in the real estate transaction.”

As part of her commitment to political action, Delinois will travel to Washington, D.C., later this year to meet with lawmakers from Florida regarding issues related to taxation, finance, energy, data security, and health care. Delinois is 2012 President of the MIAMI Association of Realtors, Residential Division. The Miami Association, with 25,000 members, is the largest Realtor organization in the U.S.
