Construction is underway for Solis Resort, Spa & Residences in Sunny Isles, the latest project by New York-based Forkosh Development Group. Solis comes on the heels of other projects in Sunny Isles such Trump Towers I and II and Jade Ocean, among others, and will feature 140 guest rooms and 135 residential units with amenities including a full-service spa, meeting facilities and a restaurant.
Residents can choose between two- and three-bedroom units, and each unit offers a large balcony with an ocean view, Pedini Italian kitchen cabinetry, Miele and Sub-Zero stainless steel appliances, a Jacuzzi bath with separate glass enclosed shower, full-size washer and dryer, spacious walk-in closets and high-speed Internet service. Building amenities include a fitness center and pool.
The 52-story condotel is being designed by the Arquitectonica architecture firm. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Feb. 20, and occupancy is slated for the summer 2009.
