Known to many as the “Queen of Pre-Construction,” Adriana Vargas-Hernandez has a sales volume in the billions for pre-construction and is a powerhouse in South Florida real estate. She started her journey at The Estates at Acqualina several years ago selling luxury condos that include five-star services and amenities for every age. At present, nearly all of the units at Acqualina are sold out.
“South Florida is my playground,” Vargas says, mentioning that she’s worked on development projects from Coral Gables, Brickell, Downtown Miami, Aventura, and Sunny Isles Beach all the way to Tampa Bay. “Living the extraordinary transformation of South Florida gives me that rush to want to jump out of bed in the morning.”
As she approaches her 50th birthday, Vargas feels blessed for all the opportunities received and the extraordinary relationships and friendships from her real estate career she has gained. She says she no longer measures her accomplishments based on sales volume (she stopped counting after she hit $1 billion), but instead by how happy her clients are when they get their new residence. “Priorities change. “After the health crisis, I look at life from a different angle,” she says. “ I measure success based on the moments we get to live and the special places we get to visit with those we love.”
As a single parent, Vargas says her best partners in life are her two sons, Pierre and Aldo. Her advice to single parents in the real estate industry is to know your worth: “You are your own magic.”
