Sildy Cervera

Director of Sales
Cervera Real Estate

After visiting Miami for a short vacation, Sildy Cervera quit her job at a Washington, D.C.-based think tank to pursue a career in her family’s real estate business.

“With encouragement from my aunt, Alicia Cervera, the founder of Cervera Real Estate in 1969, I made the move,” Cervera says. She was based in the sales office of the iconic Atlantis condominium building, built in the early 1980s. When she became a mom, Cervera moved overseas to Japan and Italy, living abroad for 11 years. Upon her return, she was involved in the early stages of the South of Fifth developments, starting with the pre-construction of Portofino Tower and Related Cervera projects, including the Yacht Club, Murano, Murano Grande, Icon and Apogee, where she was the sales manager. She also managed iStar Residential’s Ocean House and worked sales at the Aria Development Group’s 321 Ocean property.

During her 25 years in the industry, Cervera has worked with developers, architects, construction companies and designers — relationships that have given her insight into, and a true understanding of, the business. Assisting sellers, buyers and investors from Chicago; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; New York and Europe, Cervera listens and tries to fulfill as many of their wants as possible.

A big accomplishment in 2019 was the negotiation and sale of a waterfront home on Palm Island. A member of the National Association of Realtors and the Master Brokers Forum, Cervera is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist with many awards to her name, including Top Producer at Related Cervera and Cervera Real Estate.

Cervera is involved with her church and the Miami Beach K9 Knights, an organization that matches canines with police squads. “To date, we’ve donated 17 dogs,” she says. “The Knights have a strong emotional investment in the bond between the dogs and their handlers.” Cervera also supports disaster relief and charitable causes inside and outside the country.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, biking, practicing yoga and traveling.
