Krista Richman
Sales Director
The Ocean Resort Residences–Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach
Cervera Real Estate
For Krista Richman, successfully selling new construction relies not only on the talent of the sales staff but also on their ability to support each other as a team in such a competitive industry.
The 2017 and 2018 Top Producer for The Ocean Resort Residences–Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, Richman became the property’s sales manager in January 2019. Ever since, it has been her goal to lift up team members to top producer status. Throughout her nine years in the industry, Richman has earned multiple awards for teamwork and has been recognized for her success as a manager, including being named Cervera Real Estate’s New Manager of the Year in 2019. Specializing in new construction, she is an expert in the Fort Lauderdale Beach and Miami Beach areas.
“I am beyond grateful for the opportunities that my company has given me over the past few years,” Richman says. “Cervera opened the door for me to climb the ladder from an in-house sales agent to sales director of a 290-unit oceanfront development.”
Prior to a career in real estate, Richman earned her degree in architectural engineering from the University of Miami and later worked in the entertainment industry, where she fine-tuned her public speaking skills. Going back to her roots in construction, Richman decided to stay on the more personable side of the industry by pursuing a career in real estate and new construction sales.
Since 2010, Krista has volunteered with the Miss Florida Scholarship Program, organizing events to raise scholarship money to help young women in South Florida further their education. She mentors and advises the young women on public speaking and interview skills.
Fond of travel, Richman enjoys experiencing different cultures and architecture. “It’s important to experience other places to appreciate our own beautiful city we call home,” she says. “Whether I’m touring the wine countries of Europe or shark cage diving in Africa, I never want the adventure to end. However, as many times as I loop around the world, there’s no place I’d rather live than Miami.”
