Mitzi Mitchell Burns

Mitzi Mitchell Burns, Sales Director, Cervera Real Estate Coconut Grove

For Mitzi Mitchell Burns, every single sale and rental is her greatest accomplishment. “I have been able to help many families, and every one of them contributes to the bottom line,” says Burns, sales director for Cervera Real Estate Coconut Grove.

Working with both local and international clients, Burns assists sellers, buyers, investors and renters in the Coconut Grove, Brickell, Coral Gables, Miami Beach and Sunny Isles markets. “My biggest sales accomplishment each year is helping families find a place that they love and enjoy,” she says. “When my clients are happy, I am happy, too! Whenever possible, I plan a celebration with my clients after they have moved into their new home.”

Twenty-four years ago, Burns transitioned into real estate from her former career as a sales executive for two Fortune 500 companies, motivated by the unlimited earning potential and never-ending supply of opportunities. At Cervera, Burns spent nearly 14 years in pre-construction sales, including development projects such as Grand Bay Tower Residences, Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Bellini Bal Harbour, Grovenor House and Epic Miami Residences, building up an extensive client base that has remained loyal to her. “I had one family who said they were not intending to buy in Miami and just happened to be staying at the Ritz-Carlton in Coconut Grove on their way back to Puerto Rico from Paris,” she explains. “We met, and they ended up buying an apartment. Whenever they saw me in the following years, they reminded me how they would not have bought an apartment had they not met me and fallen in love with the property I showed them. That kind of feedback is so very touching.”

Burns has ranked as a Cervera Real Estate Top Producer for the last six years in a row and is a member of the Master Brokers Forum and the Condo Experts Group. She volunteers at Christ Journey Church and is a supporter of World Vision.
