Luis Dominguez

Sales Associate
SunLife Realtors

Luis Dominguez is a top producer in Miami real estate, and as anyone can tell you, his tenacity and attention to detail have certainly helped him get there. “I put every flyer I create, every listing I showcase, every ‘everything’ I do under a microscope!” he laughs. “My clients expect and deserve perfection, so I consider it a big part of my responsibility to deliver the best.” After four years in the industry, the SunLife Realtors professional knows this strategic approach has paid off. Not only does he average three home sales per month and boast a perfect five-star rating on Trulia.com, but his outstanding record of accomplishment consistently generates a healthy stream of referral business. This includes Dominguez’s representation of 1510 Bay Drive in Miami Beach, a multimillion-dollar Normandy Island home with waterfront views. “I’m fully devoted to my career and it shows because that passion is what drives me each day from dawn to dusk.”

Dominguez launched his career four years ago when his disillusionment with the job market for recent college graduates prompted him to explore opportunities that would leverage his creativity. His experiences searching for his own first home and working in sales and management positions aided his decision to pursue a career as an agent. A Florida International University alumnus, his tendency toward entrepreneurship dates back to his elementary school days when he sold chocolates door-to-door for his track team. “Real estate is truly like running your own business and even though my first sale took four months because the market was at a standstill, I realized afterward that this profession is exactly where I want and need to be.”

Buyers and sellers who have worked with Dominguez share that sentiment. Take, for example, one buyer whose family proudly showed him their updates to a home he helped them purchase when he visited them during the holiday season. “My biggest inspiration is when someone I’ve worked with months or even years ago tells me how much I’ve helped,” says Dominguez. “Helping people achieve their real estate goals is what I consider my most unique contribution to the industry.” He adds that he also finds it an honor and a privilege when others enter the profession on his advice. “It’s incredibly rewarding and humbling to know that people look up to me because of the contributions I’ve made to real estate and Miami.”

In addition, his family and friends remind Dominguez how proud they are of his success, and that respect further motivates him. “There are more than 60,000 active agents in Miami Dade County alone,” he says, “so you have to work hard to stand out if you don’t want to get lost in the crowd.” Dominguez makes a point of developing dynamic solutions tailored for each client. Their happiness, he says, is his end goal. “I’m not worried about a paycheck; I just want to ensure a winning outcome for the people who depend on me to make that happen.”
