Batchelor, in fact, is ushering in the second generation of real estate entrepreneurs into the Nancy Batchelor Team, which his mother founded. His time spent in boarding school in Stockholm, Sweden before his career as a project manager at a Swedish special events firm gives him a global perspective on his work with buyers and renters. This unique viewpoint facilitates connections with Miami’s international residents. “Many of the people we serve come from locations around the world because they’re drawn to Miami’s tropical climate, sophisticated yet laid back vibe and, of course, it’s beautiful beaches!” says Batchelor. “I’m fluent in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish in addition to English, so being multilingual makes communication that much easier, especially since clients place their trust in me to find them the perfect property.”
Establishing trust, he goes on to say, is about doing and not just saying, because actions speak louder than words. This is why he and Voelker operate on a 24/7 schedule. “My partner and I pride ourselves on being readily available if and when our clients need us, regardless if it’s day or night,” he explains. Batchelor adds that they personally show their clients each listing rather than relying on assistants to do so, another example of how they build and sustain relationships that lead to repeat and referral business. “Real estate is a serious industry, and the money that people invest in it is significant, so we’d be remiss if we didn’t do all that we can to ensure they make the best decision possible to meet their goals.”
A Miami Beach native, Batchelor enjoys all things outdoors, including sports like skiing, golfing and biking. In addition to spending time with his wife, Anna, he is deeply engaged in local charitable activities, a passion his family shares in their efforts to give back to the community that has given them so much. “Miami is and always will be home, and that’s why I believe in working smarter, not just harder, to make people’s real estate dreams come true,” he explains. “Real estate is a profession that’s enabled me to fulfill my destiny. I want to pay that forward and help others do the same when it comes to finding a place to call home.”
