Discovery Land Company recently appointed real estate veteran Alicia Goldstein to the newly created role of president, Eastern United States.  

In her new position, Goldstein will establish the company’s first corporate presence on the East Coast and oversee its expanding Eastern U.S. and Caribbean portfolio of private residential club communities. 

A 25-year veteran of luxury residential and mixed-use real estate, hospitality, development, marketing and sales, Goldstein has held senior leadership roles at Related Companies and Access Industries/Faena Group. She’s also the founder of Chrysos Partners, a development and investment advisory firm that works with developers, institutional investors and property owners, such as Third Point, Mack Real Estate Group, Artemis Real Estate Partners and The Farrell Companies.  

Over the course of her career, Goldstein has helped position, develop, market and commercialize over $30 billion of residential and mixed-use projects around the world.

Founded by Meldman in 1994, Discovery Land is a global real estate developer and operator of private communities known for their integration of the natural and cultural characteristics of their geography, the company said, adding that its golf courses are “continuously named among the top golf courses in the world by professionals and amateur golfers alike.” 

Some of Discovery Land’s properties include Atlantic Fields in Hobe Sound, Florida; Baker’s Bay Golf and Ocean Club in the Bahamas; Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club in Idaho; The Madison Club Cordevalle Golf Club and Homewood in California; Mirabel and The Estancia Club in Arizona; Taymouth Castle in Scotland; Tenuta Toscana in Italy; and Discovery Dunes in Dubai. 

Most recently, Goldstein led the repositioning of Discovery Land’s 2,400-acre Playa Grande Golf & Ocean Club and Amanera resort in the Dominican Republic on behalf of Third Point. 

“Alicia has already worked closely with Discovery at Playa Grande, so we have seen firsthand the judgment, energy and experience she brings to complex projects,” Discovery Land CEO Brett White said. “As Discovery continues to expand, particularly across the Eastern United States and Caribbean, we saw an opportunity to add a senior leader with the experience to help us manage that growth. Alicia will work across our development, sales, marketing and operating teams and help lead the continued expansion of our platform in these important markets.” 

Goldstein’s appointment comes as Discovery launches an extensive vertical residential offering that will be anchored by projects in South Florida and following the successful opening of Atlantic Fields, which will become part of her portfolio. She’ll also oversee Discovery’s ongoing high-rise condominium and private club developments in Jupiter, Miami and West Palm Beach. 

Goldstein is a graduate of Columbia University and will assume her new role in fall 2026.
