RE/MAX Advance acquires Dream Life Realty of Coral Gables

by John Yellig

RE/MAX Advance Realty acquired Coral Gables-based Dream Life Realty in a strategic merger.

The deal, which is RE/MAX Advance’s eighth acquisition of a local brokerage since 2020, is its first outside of the RE/MAX network. The transaction adds Dream Life’s 181 agents to RE/MAX Advance’s team, bringing its total agent headcount to 335 — the most in its history.

Dream Life’s office at 1701 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables will remain under the management of co-broker Juan Ortega. RE/MAX Advance now has offices in Coral Gables, Hollywood Beach, Davie, Miramar, North Miami, South Miami, Kendall, Key Largo and Key West.

“While we have been pleased with the results of our aggressive expansion in recent years, this latest strategic move in the critical Coral Gables market is a true game-changer; strengthening our position among the top tier of South Florida’s leading real estate offices,” RE/MAX Advance owner Melanie De Armas said in a press release. “The combined potency of our two brokerages will dramatically enhance service offerings, expand market reach and provide unparalleled opportunities for agents and clients alike.”

“We are absolutely delighted to join this growing powerhouse, connecting our agents with the globally recognized RE/MAX brand, as well as the expanded resources, technology and support systems that come with it,” Ortega added.
