by John Yellig

The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) installed Eddie Blanco, broker/owner of Stratwell in Miami and Naples, as its 2025 chairman of the board on Feb. 7. The installation took place at the association’s Inaugural & Awards Celebration at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Born and raised in Miami, Blanco has over 25 years of experience in South Florida real estate. His firm, Stratwell, was recognized as the No. 1 small team in Florida and No. 7 in the United States by Real Trends in 2024. He serves as a director at the National Association of REALTORS® and chairs Florida Realtors’ State & Local Taxation Think Tank.

In his role as 2025 chairman, Blanco has adopted the theme, “Forward Together: Shaping Our Future,” which he said emphasizes collaboration, advocacy and innovation. Blanco’s focus will be on empowering members, advancing strategic initiatives and positioning MIAMI to lead an evolving market.

“Real estate is about more than transactions; it’s about building communities, empowering people and shaping the future,” Blanco said. “I am honored to lead MIAMI during this pivotal time, and I believe that together, we can create opportunities that leave a lasting impact on our industry and the lives we touch.”
