Douglas Elliman is expanding its Gulf Coast presence with the return of Johnathan Shirey to its Naples office and the addition of Katie Cobb and Tara Miller, founding partners of Selling the Florida Coast, to its Sarasota location.  

After leaving the brokerage for Gulf Coast International Properties late in 2025, Shirey has returned to Douglas Elliman, where he will serve as director of luxury sales and sales associate at its Naples office at 536 Park St. There, he will continue to focus on Naples’ high-end development, branded residences, waterfront condominiums and premier coastal neighborhoods. With over 17 years of experience in real estate, Shirey closed approximately $22 million in sales in 2025 and was ranked No. 60 for sales volume in Naples by RealTrends. 

Cobb and Miller joined Douglas Elliman’s Sarasota office at 1350 Main St. in Sarasota after their previous affiliation with Preferred Shore Real Estate. Together, the team has closed more than $82 million in career sales and currently represents more than $13 million in active listings along Florida’s Gulf Coast. With over 20 years’ experience, they specialize in luxury homes, waterfront estates, premier communities and new developments.
