Miami brokerage Fortune International Group has forged a partnership with a leading real estate brokerage in the New York Hamptons.
As part of the partnership, Fortune in South Florida and Saunders & Associates in New York will refer clients between each market.
“We had spoken with a number of brokerages in the Hamptons over the years and what impressed us the most is Saunders’ client-first approach,” Fortune International CEO Edgardo Defortuna said in a news release. “We are excited to enable Fortune to have a direct reach into one of the wealthiest enclaves in the nation.”
There has long been client overlap between the Hamptons and South Florida, and the two brokerages see an opportunity to lift up each other in a working partnership.
“There have never been more synergies between New York and South Florida than there are today,” said Andrew Saunders, president of Saunders & Associates. “Our clients are their clients, and we have every confidence that they will deliver the same white-glove service that has elevated our company to being the leading brokerage in the Hamptons in just over a decade. Our approach and corporate culture are a perfect fit.”
Fortune International Group dates to 1983 and has more than 7,000 units sold and nine million square feet of projects delivered. The firm’s work includes some of the most prominent residences and brands — such as St. Regis and Ritz Carlton — in South Florida.
Saunders & Associates is the largest locally-owned and operated brokerage in the Hamptons with $2.6 billion sold and rented in 2021.
