Brian Gitlin leaves position managing real estate at U. of Miami for COO role at Blanca Commerical Real Estate

Blanca Commercial Real Estate in Miami has hired Brian Gitlin as its new chief operating officer, the company announced this week. 

Gitlin has 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, most recently with the University of Miami where, among other duties, he managed the university’s real estate holdings, valued at $400 million.

Gitlin will manage Blanca’s operations, including technology and growth initiatives and support the company’s expansion plans for its service lines and geographic footprint. 

“Brian’s extensive experience in developing strategic plans, overseeing financial analysis and budgets, and managing all aspects of the real estate life-cycle will bring tremendous value to Blanca Commercial Real Estate and its clients,” Blanca’s founder and CEO Tere Blanca said. “By growing our c-suite leadership and having Brian on board, we will be able to continue delivering outstanding results to our clients by leveraging our superior market intelligence, data-driven research and carefully customized strategies.”
