PBC Homes Get Multi-Million Dollar Price Cuts for Spring

by admin

Brokers in Palm Beach County have lowered the prices on high-end homes by significant amounts.

Palm Beach County brokers are lowering prices of their high-end real estate properties by $2 million or more in order to get them sold before the summer.

According to TheRealDeal.com, it is typical for home owners and brokers to cut prices this time of year in order to create a buzz to get their properties sold, as the summer is not a very good time to be selling extremely high-priced real estate.

The site also reports that Cristina Condon of Sotheby’s International Realty recently lowered the price of her 6,259-square-foot listing at 241 Banyan Road to $15.9 million from $17.9 million. Corcoran Group’s Jim McCann lowered the price of an 11,627-square-foot home at 1520 South Ocean Boulevard to $25 million from $27 million last month. In addition, listing agent Paula Wittmann of Fite Shavell & Associates lowered the price of an 11,000-square-foot home at 102 Banyan from $26 million to $24 million.
