The Kislak Organization (Kislak), a privately-held firm that specializes in real estate and financial services, announced today the promotion of Connie Queralt to Director of Accounting and Human Resources. Ms. Queralt will be based in Kislak’s headquarters in Miami Lakes, Fla.

Ms. Queralt has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, lending, and financial reporting. Ms. Queralt has been a part of the Kislak Organization for 13 years and has held several management positions, including vice president of Loan Servicing and controller at J.I. Kislak Mortgage (Kislak Mortgage), the Organization’s residential mortgage division, prior to the organization selling the business in 1996. Most recently, Ms. Queralt was vice president of Kislak Mortgage, which re-launched in June 2010. Prior to that, she served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Homebuilders Financial Network (HFN).

Ms. Queralt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from St. Thomas University in Miami, Fla. where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
